· Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation
· Cognitive Rehabilitation
· Telerehabilitation
· Sociological, demographic and legal aspects of Virtual Rehabilitation
· Regulatory, education and formative efforts to promote Virtual Rehabilitation
· Novel applications of game consoles
Paper Submission Guidelines
· Papers should describe original and unpublished work.
· Authors should submit manuscripts electronically as a DOC file on http://www.virtual-rehab.org/2009/upload/openconf.php CD Proceedings will be distributed at the conference - subsequently published papers will become part of the IEEE Online Library, carrying the IEEE copyright notice.
· Papers should not exceed 8 pages, double column, formatted according to IEEE template provided on our website. The 8 page limit includes images, figures, tables and references. All papers must include the title, an abstract, keywords, author’s names, affiliations, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and the contact author for the paper.
· Paper submission deadline February 23, 2009
· Notification of the review decision: April 1, 2009
· Final camera-ready paper due: May 1, 2009
· Best Paper Award sponsored by Hocoma AG
· Best Student Paper Award sponsor by GestureTek Inc.
· Technical Sponsorship from IEEE EMBS
· Special Issue in a journal is being arranged.
Tutorial / Workshop Submission Guidelines
· We are soliciting technical and clinical tutorials and workshops.
· Interested instructors should submit 1-page proposals including Tutorial/Workshop title, instructors, contact information of organizer, objectives, intended audience and abstract.
· Submission this year will be via email to Tutorial/Workshop Co-Chairs deutsch@umdnj.edu and hsugarman@ono.ac.il
· Specific formatting guidelines will be published on the web site.
· Workshop and Tutorial submissions deadline February 23, 2009
· Notification of the review decision: April 1, 2009
